Graham and I had the privilege of visiting our Neath church branch recently and thought folks might appreciate a report.

We began with a meeting in Merthyr Tydfil on the Saturday morning of 10th April. There were around 40 present, 10 of these visitors and 5 who had never visited our Saturday morning outreach before. Gareth began the occasion with an introductory word before Helen led a time of worship. Then Vanda shared her testimony to salvation, restoration to God and baptism in the Holy Spirit. The young folk sang before I brought the word. I spoke from Hebrews 4:7 about listening to the voice of God. Around 10 folks responded to the appeal and received various levels of help. We were delighted to see one lady respond for salvation. The presence of God was very much with us and we got excellent feedback from our visitors; some quite overwhelmed with the presence of God they experienced.

Our second meeting was a tarry meeting on the Saturday evening in our Neath Church. This was an outstanding meeting with a very deep vibrant presence of God. All who came received ministry. There was baptism in the Holy Spirit, deliverance, empowering for service and wonderful encounters with God. The company sat silently in the presence of the Lord for a good half hour after the service, no one wanted to move! It reminded me of the presence that comes at the end of a fabulous camp meeting.

On Sunday morning the church looked fairly full with a good number who gathered for the communion service. I took the whole meeting and spoke of the mercy of God from various verses from Psalms. It was a very rich meeting with a lovely deep access to God.

On the whole we were delighted with the way God moved amongst us at the weekend. We praise Him for His outstanding presence that visits us again and again.
