 The funeral of Eadie Best will be held at the Struthers Memorial Church, Greenock on Thursday 1st October at 11.00 am followed by interment at Knocknairshill Cemetery (Kilmacolm Rd, Greenock, PA15 3DR) at 12 Noon.

Thousands of women moved through her life and work and yet she remembered them all,her gift was compassion and getting the job done. I still have a wee laugh when I think of all the girls sitting up having a wee blether at night and the sound of her doing her rounds, the look on our faces as we would dive into bed and lie there like we had been in bed for hours. Many a woman all over the world will hold memories of sister Best Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
